Events and Community Outreach Intern
Tyler is a Freshman at the University of Florida. He is passionate about advocating for public education, career and technical education programs, and working to open doors and remove barriers for students to achieve their greatest academic, professional, and personal potential and fulfill their goals. Tyler is currently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Education and Communication, specializing in Teacher Education, with special interests in food justice, workforce development, and public service. Tyler is always looking for opportunities to grow and develop wherever he is, and whoever he’s with, hoping to acquire new essential skills along the way. He sees the value and impact his educational experiences have had on his life and shaping who he is. He believes that a key attribute of an effective leader is identifying the unique gifts and skills in others and providing them with the resources and opportunities to see them flourish. Tyler has devoted his career to coming alongside students, providing them with someone they can trust, that will advocate for them, and guide them through the many hurdles life has to hold.
