Melanie Guerrero
Marketing and Events Intern
Melanie is a Junior at the University of Florida. She is passionate about driving positive change in the realm of child welfare and advocacy and is inspired to make a meaningful impact in the nonprofit sector. Melanie is currently pursuing a dual degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences and Education Sciences, with a minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. Melanie strives to equip herself with the knowledge and skills to address the complex challenges facing children and families today. She firmly believes that children deserve positive role models, especially in the public school system where most spend over a decade of their lives. On a Pre-Law track, Melanie aims to learn more about child and family law in order to defend the most vulnerable individuals in our communities. Utilizing both my academic and hands-on experiences, Melanie is dedicated to leveraging her skillset to advocate for children’s rights, provide them with the support they need, and empower them to reach their full potential.
