Tom Ogg

Tom Ogg’s professional career was based in Columbus, Ohio, with Motorists Mutual Insurance Company—now known as Encova—an AM Best “A”-rated company operating in 28 states with over $4 billion in assets. He retired in 2009 as Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary, having also served as Chief Underwriting Officer for Property and Casualty operations. Even after retirement, his leadership continued as he spent the next 10 years on the company’s Board of Directors.

Married to his wife, Sara, for 53 years, they have built a family that includes two children and three grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys golf, exercising, reading, and—most recently—has taken up the fascinating hobby of beekeeping.
