April Tisher is currently an Account Executive with Irving Publications, publisher of Giggle and Wellness360 magazines in Gainesville, FL. Previously, she served as a Program Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and worked as a substitute teacher in Alachua County Public Schools.

A passionate community advocate, she has dedicated over two decades to volunteer service—particularly in areas supporting children and families. She has been a Junior League board member for 21 years, served as President of the Gainesville High School Quarterback Club for five years, and held board positions with the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County and Trinity United Methodist Church. Her contributions also include service on the PTA Board at Talbot Elementary, the School Advisory Council (SAC), and the Community Council.

Her commitment to education and child welfare has led her to support numerous programs, including the CARE Committee at Rawlings Elementary, the HIPPY program, and the Read with Me program at Duval Elementary. A long-time advocate for public schools and children, she also ran for Alachua County School Board, District 3, in 2018.
