Darry Lloyd has been in law enforcement as a sworn officer for 29 years. He’s currently the Chief Investigator for the 8th Circuit State Attorney’s Office which covers 6 North Central Florida Counties. Darry is a graduate of the 269th Session of the FBI National Academy. Currently serves as the Moderator for Gainesville Police Black on Black Crime Taskforce, Vice Chair of the Missing Endangered Person Clearinghouse Advisory Board for the State of Florida, and Board member of the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce. Darry is Currently the Chapter President of the Gainesville Alumni Chapters of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Darry was recognized with the NAACP President’s Award in 2023 and the Good Trouble Award for the Florida Delegation of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
