Senior Team Leader – Project Development Scorpio

Erik Anderson began his journey in construction during high school, inspired by a home builder and architect who encouraged him to pursue commercial construction for its broader community impact. He earned both his Bachelor’s (2006) and Master’s (2007) degrees in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
From 2005 to 2012, Erik worked at Charles Perry Partners, Inc., managing hundreds of projects for clients like UF, UF Health Shands, and Santa Fe College. Notable projects include the Santa Fe College Building O and UF/UAA Indoor Tennis Facility.
From 2012 to 2023, Erik served as senior manager, VP, and part-owner at McLeod General Trades, helping grow the company fivefold in size and revenue. He led strategic planning and client relationships on projects like Sarasota Memorial Hospital (Venice), FIS HQ (Jacksonville), and Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedics Hospital.
Currently, Erik is the Senior Team Lead in Project Development at Scorpio, where he heads the procurement team, delivering community-focused construction solutions. He lives with his wife, Kacey, and their three sons: Beckett, Charlie, and Walker.
