Foundation offers two different opportunities for college scholarships: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Take Stock in Children mentoring and scholarship program (must apply grades 6-9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">as well as the Senior Scholarship program for all public school high school seniors in Alachua County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p Apply<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Our application process for the 2025-2026 Student recruitment cycle has closed! <\/em><\/strong><br><strong>Our 2026-2027 application process will open in October 2025. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for Take Stock in Children, students must attend an Alachua County Public School, be in the sixth, seventh, eighth, or ninth grade, and their<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1bWFg78-KjGVcC51SbJq48xKqa1roi0Ul\/view?usp=sharing\"> families must meet&nbsp;these eligibility guidelines<\/a>.<br><br>We have one recruitment cycle each It now awards over $150,000 each year in college scholarships to Alachua County public high school seniors. Through college scholarships, students are empowered and equipped to graduate from high school and exceed at the next level. Fifty-two local families, businesses, and civic organizations have partnered with our Foundation to make these scholarship opportunities possible. A number of these scholarships have been set up to honor someone and help keep their memory alive by sending students to college. Dimitrov Memorial Scholarship scholarship have allowed for me to focus on school. I have been able to put the required time and effort into my education and work towards my goal of graduating with honors. I have also been able to explore my interests and get involved with organizations that I would have otherwise not had the ability to join; such as Omicron Delta Kappa, an arts and communications honor society and FSU choruses. My greatest accomplishments in college so far have been landing a software engineering internship after my first year at FIXD.
